A shooting outside a Brooklyn playground left a woman wounded Sunday night, police said.
The 40-year-old victim was standing with her boyfriend on Louisiana Ave. and Flatlands Ave. in East New York, by the Breukelen Ballfields at about 8 p.m., when she was shot, cops said.
Police believe a woman riding in the passenger seat of a passing car opened fire, striking the victim’s hip from the back. Medics took her to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition, police said.
The woman told investigators that she didn’t see the attack, only that she heard a shot ring out as she was struck, police said.
Police found one .45-caliber shell casing on the scene, sources said.
A dark Nissan was parked nearby, its back windshield shattered and its front and back passenger side open.
The victim’s boyfriend declined comment on the scene.
