Doctor Who finally has a female time lord!
In case you missed it on Sunday, the BBC show introduced Jodie Whittaker as the 13th Doctor with a short but amazing clip!
While it’s certainly been a long time coming, there are many mixed feelings swirling on Twitter in the wake of the reveal. It seems like some fans care less about the Broadchurch starlet’s abilities, but are disappointed in a female taking the lead.
Fortunately, not everyone feels that way, and are happy to shut down the sexist trolls with epic clapbacks!
Lot of folks who have never cared about Dr. Who before are suddenly very concerned. Maybe we should announce that climate change is a woman.

Interesting how the Doctor Who casting announcement reflects real life issues such as time travel, as most comments about it date from 1534.

“I just can’t picture a female doctor!”
It’s a fucking TV show mate, they provide the pictures for you

*Enters mind of someone who objects to woman taking role of Doctor Who*
Doctor Who a woman…
So I guess soon we’ll see:
– female doctors
– female lawyers
– female politicians

*Doctor Who literally breaks the laws of physics* – Oh yeah makes sense
Your dad thinks Dr Who being a woman spoils the realism of someone travelling space & time in a phonebox fighting bins with plungers on them

What do U think about Jodie’s new role??
