Dozens of police and emergency crews on Friday flooded into the Packer’s Lambeau field in response to an emergency situation.
Green Bay Police in a news release said they responded to the sports facility off Lombardi Avenue around 1 p.m. “regarding a possible disturbance with a vehicle.”
The Brown County Bomb Squad was also called to the field, theGreen Bay Press-Gazettereported.
Police appear to be congregating around the loading dock near the southern end of the stadium, which they have cordoned off. No injuries have been reported, police said.
The Packers on Friday invited hundreds of fans to shovel snow from the seating areas inside the field.
Officials have warned people to stay away from the area and said the situation is still active.
