A commercial passenger jet coming from Mexico City rammed into an airport truck at Los Angeles International Airport Saturday, leaving eight people injured.
The collision took place shortly after the Boeing 737, operated by Aeromexico, landed on an airport taxiway around 4 p.m., the Los Angeles Fire Department said.
The plane caused the truck, which carried eight airport employees, to overturn. All eight passengers sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Two female employees were more seriously injured than the men.
None of the plane’s 146 passengers and crewmembers were injured.
