Which, given it's set in the UK and is a joint British production, is annoying as hell. Calvin's Comics December 8, 2017 DUDE!Where is the review of Happy Death Day?! I need your opinions!!!! factfeeder777 December 8, 2017 The Foreigner's production budget was $35 mils and it's box office record now is $112 mils.. I'd say it's doing alright.. Plus we don't want Jackie doing dangerous stants for movies because that's taking a chance at dying early.. Jackie is being smart for doing a dramatic movie … plus he isn't a bad actor either. Philip Vanguard December 8, 2017 omg "Welcome to capitalism" I don't know why that made me laugh so hard. Tom Powers December 8, 2017 The “philistines” comment is so on point as to how Hollywood looks at people like Blum, Grace, you are the most on target reviewer in the scene today… Tv Series HD December 8, 2017 Now Playing Happy Death Day (2017) Full Movie @ https://goo.gl/HhHYDw Alodya Menes December 8, 2017 🔴 Happy Death Day FuIIMᴏᴠɪᴇ 【HD】 [ plus.google.com/u/1/+QuickflixMovie/posts/akcnpMjFMZS ] James Liams December 8, 2017 cheap? id say ROI Rodrigo Pérez December 8, 2017 Seriously? Daniel Cabrera December 8, 2017 comic book movies have taken over and interesting profound movies are seldom MB 0610 December 8, 2017 Were you going to do a review for Happy Death Day? MrMpa31 December 8, 2017 The Foreigner looks good. I haven't seen it yet but i will. There's too much focus on opening weekends. MrMpa31 December 8, 2017 Just saw Blade Runner 2049 and it is really good. It is one of the best modern day sequels to a classic film. It was faithful and not forced. The problem was that it didnt check all the mainstream boxes. As a film goer, i'm really happy that they stayed faithful and didnt bend to the generic. Sully The Man December 8, 2017 Sleight didn't get anywhere near as much exposure as it deserved. Jason Blum produced a great genre blend with that film redlightmax December 8, 2017 12:30 "…the faith-based trend is clearly over. Not that someone couldn't, you know, resurrect it…"Dude. random dude December 8, 2017 happy death day was such a great film, had me smiling the whole time, was so much fun with a great ending. Rman Nayr December 8, 2017 Blade Runner is still one of the best movies this year! Rman Nayr December 8, 2017 IT WAS STILL A GOOD MOVIE! And it's doing well overseas! Matthew Przybyla December 8, 2017 You speak like an essay <3 JORGE LIMAS December 8, 2017 Best James Bond movie ever made. I agreed SidV101 December 8, 2017 How was Blade Runner 2049 pretentious? I didn't get that feeling at all, and I'm not a pretentious moviegoer. My favorite movies of all time are Lord of the Rings and Star Wars Austin Sommers 70 December 8, 2017 Geostorm looks tempting … TheRManProds December 8, 2017 Blade Runner is still making lots of money Overseas! It's doing fine! J N December 8, 2017 I've heard nothing, but good things about the Foreigner and Blade Runner 2049. I do respect your opinion simply because we are entitled to it. And after all opinions are like assholes, we all have one, lol. May I suggest try not to be so negative without giving legit reasons why the movie is bad. I felt as if you cut yourself short on this review. I love your reviews. Keep up the good work girl 😉 William James December 8, 2017 It's not ridiculous Grace. Alejandro Iñarritu called super hero movies "cultural genocide" with good reason, despite being room for every genre in cinema, Comic books movies had overflowed the market (specially Marvel), with 3 to 4 movies a year, to a point in which anything that requires a higher level of attention and thinking becomes unappealing to the mainstream audiences. The political correcness or inclusion of movies like Wonder Woman or Black Panther doesn't have anything to do with this problem… you just can't compare the quality of Blade Runner 2049 with the quality of Wonder Woman, Get Out or the upcoming Black Panther, they're not even in the same planet artistically speaking. I don't see how the IT comparison is of any help either, even if enjoyable, at the end of the day IT it's a great popcorn movie at best, without relevant social comments or cultural impact beyond trending. If anything, IT is part of the problem… Blade Runner 2049 it's a masterpiece in every sense of the word. A movie that should've been seen multiple times to fully grasp it's perfection. But hey, lets watch Thor Ragnarok 5 times instead, so we can laugh at the same jokes and awe at the same action scenes and make some memes in social media about it :). A new dark age for cinema has begun. Say what you want about BvS, but at least you could see the intention of greatness for the comic book genre in it, hidden behind the weird narrative of Zack Snyder and the studio meddling… after Wonder Woman it's clear to me that they've opted to the more "light" and "fun" Marvel formula to appeal the brainless/zombie of an audience that currently inhabit the theaters, and they've completly drop the idea of innovation and mixing comic book (money making) and experimentation (art). Blade Runner 2049 it's the final nail in the coffin for great, interesting and artistic high budgets SciFi/Fantasy movies that actually have something to say… no IT or Wonder Woman comparison it's gonna cover that. I enjoy comic book movies, but Iñarritu was right… they're the cancer of the industry: Dumb, simplistic, repetitive, formulaic and the worst part, they're everywhere… they're basically the Reggaeton of cinema. PS: I miss the times when you used to anwser this kind of comments 🙁 Icknod Codopay December 8, 2017 so since you have Insider knowledge on Hollywood – Why don't you stop glorifying the Pedophiles and Sexual perverts and do something worthwhile and help Expose the scum. BTW I was an editor for 35 years in Hollywood. It's all true and you are glorifying them. J J December 8, 2017 Grace please react to Padmavati's trailer its a new Bollywood movie you might like it😊 Strange Times December 8, 2017 Geo storm ratings and content https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=9TnyyhEP13I Reginald Davis December 8, 2017 Golden Eye = Best James Bond movie Ken Donohue December 8, 2017 I saw the Foreigner on the 14th. It was really good. I was behind the MI6 building, when they blew up the bus on the bridge. Guns and Butter December 8, 2017 Marshall was a good movie it wasn't in a lot of theaters only two where I live. ManofGears December 8, 2017 Not true Grace! I really wanted to go see The Foreigner but I couldn't find any cinemas in the UK showing the film or even find a UK release date, only a China & American release date. I was so excited to go see it 🙁 David Kosir December 8, 2017 I feel like the BO prediction for Geostorm is too low, I'm predicting low 20's Horrornado December 8, 2017 Nothing but superhero movies? Yes please! ajt222 December 8, 2017 I can't go to the cinema anymore it's full of other people, I can't stand other people. David Castle December 8, 2017 Haven't seen any movie the past couple weekends. The next movie I'm seeing is Matt Damon's Suburbicon. Cause it should be a law to see every MD movie ryan shannon December 8, 2017 Blade Runner was amazing but the original was also a flop at the box office it’s one of those movies that will stand the test of time and will be appreciated more later Philipp Tanzer December 8, 2017 I think it's quite interesting that both Mother ! and Blade Runner did quite well in Europe. I guess it is true that American audiences prefer movies that are easy to digest, don't challenge intellectually or emotionally and follow a very clear formula. And I do agree that audiences should be afraid of a future sameness in movies. And Marvel is – I am afraid – a prime example. And I applaud movies like Mother !, Blade Runner, and also studios like FOX that break the mold with their approach of Superhero movies. Yes, capitalism creates a culture where people get what they want, but that means that simple movies are being produced for the masses and they are not being challenged to broaden their horizon. And unfortunately it is evident that people are less and less educated and the IQ is getting lower with every generation. Maybe the media has a responsibility Daniel Aplin December 8, 2017 The only great movies of 2017 I’ve seen so far are. 1. MOTHER!2. WAR FOR THE PLANET OF THE APES3. WONDER WOMAN I haven’t seen Dunkirk yet HindsightPOV December 8, 2017 I thought “Happy Death Day” had a mediocre trailer with a familiar premise so I’m surprised it had the strong opening weekend it did.
