However, the interior looks really nice, except:1. 2017 model seats looked much better.2. The buttons and the surrounding panel on the driver and passenger door panel look cheap. Please get rid of those really cheap looking black plastics. Please make them look more premium with piano black and/or metallic finishes. Please do not use those fake carbon or wood looks. lost worldhistory August 29, 2017 Honda, the new accord's exterior makes even the ugly Toyota Camry, Nissan, and American cars look better. Civic looks really nice but it's one of those shapes that will look really ugly if you modify even few lines. Please please please change that over and disproportionately stretched Civic look of the new Accord before all the young buyers depart. Sorry but it looks really tacky and patchy. Why protruding forehead with so much cheap black plastic looking facade in front (bumper)? Why so many awkward, choppy, and patchy looking lines on the side and the rear bumper? Just look at the 2017 models, especially the touring model, with the simple and clean lines looking very fluid, elegant, as well as sharp and sporty in some ways. You guys had everything right then, and that's why people choose Accord over others. Please don't forget that. lost worldhistory August 29, 2017 Honda, please please please redo the exterior. You had it all right with the 2017 design, especially the touring edition, which had a perfect balance of elegance and sportiness. Why turn it into an ugly looking version of Civic by stretching it to the wrong proportions. Except the Sports edition, it looks so tacky and awkward to say the least. It's not bold at all. Just loud in a tacky way. Otherwise, you will lose a lot of customers. In addition to the quality, it was the exterior look that a lot of customers bought the current generation of the Accord. Unless you change the look very soon, it will be more like 1 car sold very 2 hours. Thank you. Timothy Hsu August 29, 2017 The decision to use push button transmission shift is the biggest fail in this new car. Whoever came up with idea obviously does not drive a car, in my opinion. CastrejonHDTV August 29, 2017 The Camry is better. Better mpg, more power, v6 option, more reliable, better style. douglasmlinder August 29, 2017 Why does every corporate executive want to be steve jobs doing a ted talk? Just lead the company and let someone else show the cars, you ALL have no charisma whatsoever and it sounds like the worst high school book report ever. Akhil Bolla August 29, 2017 guys Honda might have listened to negative reviews and complaints on social media and they might make the top engine have up to 306 hp and 295 lb. of torque like the type r. I think sales will still be good and I kind of like the styling of this car and I like the technology and features of this car. but it is too late to revise the front and rear end which is not a bad thing to some people who like the styling like me. Jose Victorino August 29, 2017 People don't realize that Toyota doesn't even offer a coupe Ondřej Chylík August 29, 2017 CRAZY! Experimental design! WHY NOT! park2086 August 29, 2017 Please stop making cars, and make gundams instead. Then I will approve. You are getting very close to gundam face here. Craig Tompkins August 29, 2017 Thank you for bringing the Accord to where I always say it is… This will be my 5th owned generation personally and my families 8th owned generation. XxConnorsxX August 29, 2017 What a big disappointment. Honda did great with the 2016 refresh, proudly driving a V6 Touring sedan. I was expecting even greater for the next gen but I was mistaken, Honda made a huge leap backwards. I mean first the body looks ugly, the rear looks like a Chevy. With the 9th gen refresh the Accord resembles a BMW at least, with Mercedes style led headlights. The headlights look skinnier on this 18 with everything looking like poop. Then a big downgrade in the screen display, from luxury dual screen to a single screen ? The refresh 9th gen dual screen was fixed nicely I love using it. Looks like lane watch was taken out to, I have it constantly on when I ride with my dog that blocks the mirror so the camera was the best safety feature and I can use the GPS still on the other screen. Already just with those key factors makes it a downgrade, and not even mentioning the performance. Go from a 278 HP V6 to a 252 HP 4 Cylinder ? You got to be kidding Honda. Will have to wait for the next generation because the new 10th is something you can't even fix without a complete redesign. I will happily treasure my 16' V6 Touring for many years to come till I see a real upgrade. Good job Honda. K Killough August 29, 2017 Honda has given up in trying to be the best selling sedan in America, why would the get rid of the V6 Accord in light of the Camry has one now that is 301 hp better looking interior & Exterior – (My Opinion), Buyers may as well buy a Mazda, Sonata or VW with their weak 4 cylinder engines. I thought Honda was trying to get rid of their stodgy conservative looks and move towards a progressive look as in Camry. The Avg age of Camry Buyers is 52, I hate to see what the 2018 avg age of the Honda Accord will be. "Very Disappointed" Matt Tucci August 29, 2017 Nice looking car. I would like to see more about the transmissions and engine selections. Matt Tucci August 29, 2017 It looks like a Legacy from the side. obinna umeh August 29, 2017 Very disappointed with the accord 18. Why not 306hp? And what the hell are those tail lights? Change!! Change!! Change that's a no no. Why the split tail lights tho??? Blue Storm August 29, 2017 I think it will be like what happened with the iphone 7, everybody said" WTF no headphone jack, they made it worse" and then after its realse almost all apple's fans bought it.So I think same thing will happen with the accord Michael Horgan August 29, 2017 I totally prefer this new Accord to the new Camry. May PoolQueen August 29, 2017 This is one Strange Sedan Shape, you sucks Testsuji Morikawa And the interior dont looks like A Concert Hall at all,You sucks Yosuke Shimizu , it looks like a copy of Bmw/ Audi interior johnny pham August 29, 2017 Thanks Honda for designing ur own led headlight system. Should be out during 2013. Looks amazing though Nori Licious August 29, 2017 It would be typical for people to say "make a type r" but that's not the car most would look for… I'm curious what the accord "euro r" would be. Just saying. f581474x August 29, 2017 I currently drive a honda accord coupe. I have a feeling that i will go with the camry next time BhullEngg1 August 29, 2017 The most impressive change was in 2008. Danial khan August 29, 2017 The biggest game change: a volume nobe. Danial khan August 29, 2017 back looks like 2014 Camry. James Lemley August 29, 2017 I'm still wondering how the design team and higher-ups thought this looked good. Just garbage aesthetics and a big step backwards from previous models. Eric August 29, 2017 I like it. I really hate that "unabrow" chrome look on the front end. I'm in the minority because I also don't like the volume knobs on the nav screen, and don't like the way that screen extends above the top of the dash.Otherwise, I'm excited by it and unless something changes I'll be test driving one. I will be buying a new car this fall (my Camry has 250K miles on it and it's time to give her a new home). I really hate the new Camry so I've already crossed it off my list. I keep seeing talk about a 6" heads up display on the touring model but haven't seen a single picture yet. I'm curious to see what it looks like. yiyangcheng August 29, 2017 I thought the back looks like Legacy S.C. 2005. August 29, 2017 In my opinion, the new 2018 accord looks best in red. ameer killer August 29, 2017 الي جاي من اعجابات دحماس لايك هههههههه P K August 29, 2017 Will this be released in the Australian market?
